Quick answer: The first Map Fragment is on the lower interior level of The $.$. Rocky. The other five unlock one per week until December 5 — see the schedule.
Treasure Hunters is a limited Fortnite Battle Royale adventure built around weekly captains, changing points of interest and hidden treasure across a new island.
The hunt began on November 1, 2026 on the new 80-player Crossbones Isle. Epic describes the season as a search for mysterious loot, with a new captain arriving each week alongside a crew, weapons and a themed POI.
At launch, players can visit One Piece locations such as Arlong Park and Windmill Village, use powers including the Gum-Gum Fruit and Three Sword Style, and board A$AP Rocky's battleship, The $.$. Rocky. Later weekly arrivals include Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto.
Epic also schedules Captain Days for November 1, 8, 12, 15 and 22, when new weapons, Sprites and other map additions arrive. Separate Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Saturdays add rotating weapon access and boosted drops during the season.

Wait for that week's fragment to unlock, travel to its active POI, find the glowing paper pickup and interact with it. Earlier pieces are reported to remain available for catch-up after their first week.
Guides report 10,000 XP for each piece and the free X Marks the Zero Point Sliver loading screen for completing the set. These reward details are not stated in Epic's season announcement.

Each fragment is tied to a weekly Treasure Hunters quest. Confirm that the piece is live before entering a match, then use its dedicated location guide for the final room and pickup point.
Open Fortnite's quest tab and confirm that the matching Map Fragment quest is active. A future date or reported POI does not make the pickup available early.
Start a supported Battle Royale match and travel to the captain's named point of interest. Use the schedule below to avoid searching an unconfirmed location.
Open the fragment's walkthrough and match the marked map, room description and gameplay screenshot. The pickup can be inside a ship or building rather than outdoors at the POI marker.
Use the on-screen interaction prompt on the glowing fragment, then confirm that the quest updated. You can also mark the piece in our browser tracker without connecting an Epic account.

The collection is released in stages rather than all at once. Each fragment has its own weekly unlock date, so a future POI or marker appearing in a schedule does not mean the item is already present in a live match. Check the in-game quest tab first, then compare the date and status in our location directory. If the quest has not appeared, searching the reported POI or repeatedly changing matches will not unlock it early.
Start by confirming that the matching Treasure Hunt quest is visible and that the fragment's unlock date has arrived. Enter a Battle Royale match, follow the dedicated guide to the exact room, and check the pictured pickup position rather than only the POI map marker. If it is still missing, leave and start a fresh match, then check for a Fortnite update or temporary quest issue. A new match can refresh the location, but it is a troubleshooting step rather than a guaranteed fix.
Map Fragments are tied to the weekly captain locations in Fortnite Battle Royale's Treasure Hunters mini-season. Fragment #1 is inside a lower interior room of The $.$. Rocky, not on the open deck or directly on the main map marker. Use the location directory to see which later fragments are available, reported or still unconfirmed. Each dedicated page is updated with the final room, route and screenshots only after enough evidence is available.
First confirm in Fortnite that the fragment's weekly quest is live. Enter a Battle Royale match, land at or travel to the listed captain POI, and follow the dedicated walkthrough to the correct floor and room. Approach the glowing paper fragment and use the on-screen interaction prompt; simply visiting the POI is not enough. After the pickup, confirm that the quest progress changed before leaving the match, then optionally mark the same piece in this site's browser tracker.
The published guide schedule lists six Map Fragments. Their reported dates are November 1, 7, 14, 21 and 28, followed by the final piece on December 5. Only the pieces whose quests are live can be collected, so the available total increases during the season. Epic's Treasure Hunters announcement does not state the six-piece total itself, which is why the site separates official season information from guide-reported quest details.
One published guide reports 10,000 XP for each collected fragment. Multiple guide sources report that completing the six-piece set unlocks the X Marks the Zero Point Sliver loading screen. The loading screen is described as a completion reward rather than a shop purchase, and no Battle Pass is reported as necessary. Because Epic's season announcement does not list these quest rewards, check the live quest screen for the final reward text and completion state.
No Battle Pass is reported as required for the Map Fragment quest or its loading-screen reward. You should be able to complete the live fragment quests through the standard Treasure Hunters Battle Royale activity. You still need access to Fortnite, the correct live quest and a supported match; buying the Battle Pass does not unlock future fragments ahead of schedule. Check the in-game quest page if Epic changes the access conditions during the season.
One published guide reports that earlier fragments remain collectible after their first week, which would allow players to catch up later. Epic Games' official season announcement does not confirm that rule, so do not treat an older fragment as guaranteed to remain indefinitely. Open its dedicated page, verify that the quest is still visible in game and collect it as soon as practical. Aim to finish before the December 5 live event, and treat Fortnite's own quest timer or removal notice as the final authority.
You do not need to defeat A$AP Rocky before collecting Fragment #1. The fragment can be reached and interacted with inside its lower-level room while the boss is still active. However, the ship contains hostile enemies and is likely to attract other players, so landing nearby, collecting basic weapons and approaching through the lower interior route may be safer than rushing the open deck. Requirements for later fragments will be stated separately after their live pickup interactions are verified.
You cannot collect all six while the weekly rollout is still in progress because unreleased fragments do not yet appear as active pickups. In a current match, you can only attempt fragments whose quests have already unlocked. After all six are live, collecting several in one match may be possible if the older pickups remain active and the storm route allows it. Epic has not officially confirmed that catch-up behavior, so verify each active quest before planning a multi-location run.
Use Fortnite's in-game quest screen as the authoritative record of completed fragments and reward progress. After collecting a piece, confirm that its objective updated before returning to the lobby. This site's tracker is only a separate convenience checklist: tap Mark as collected on each available card to record your route planning. Those checkmarks are stored in the current browser, so another device, browser profile or cleared site data may show a different result.
No. The tracker does not connect to Epic Games and cannot read your Fortnite quest progress automatically. Your checkmarks are stored locally in the browser you are using, which means they do not follow you to another device and may disappear if you clear browser data. The site never needs your Epic username, password, login code or account connection; use Fortnite's quest screen whenever the local checklist and your actual progress differ.
