PRIVACY

Privacy policy

Effective November 7, 2026. This policy describes the current static version of Map Fragments Fortnite and its browser-based collection tracker.

Information you provide

The current site has no user registration, comment system, payment checkout or Epic Games login. It does not ask for your name, email address, Epic username, password, authentication code or account connection. Do not send account recovery codes, payment details or other sensitive information when reporting a guide issue.

Browser tracker data

When you mark a fragment as collected, the fragment numbers are saved in your browser's local storage under the site-specific key mff-collected-v1. This data remains on that browser and is not transmitted to the site by the tracker. The reset button removes the saved checklist value; clearing site data, using another browser profile or changing devices can also remove or separate your progress.

If local storage is blocked, the tracker may work only for the current visit. Fortnite's in-game quest screen remains the authoritative record in every case.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The current static build does not intentionally set cookies, include an analytics script, display advertising or run affiliate tracking. Normal browser caching is separate from cookies. If analytics or advertising is introduced later, this policy and any legally required notice or consent control must be updated before activation.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

Google AdSense is not active in the current build. If Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's previous visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

Visitors can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where other advertising vendors participate, visitors may also review industry opt-out choices at AboutAds. Third parties may place or read cookies in a visitor's browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers to collect information as a result of ad serving.

Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use its services on its partner sites and apps page. This policy will be updated with the active advertising providers before any non-Google ad network is enabled.

Visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

If advertising is activated for visitors in these regions, the site will use a Google-certified consent management platform where required to request consent for cookies, local storage and personalized advertising. Visitors will be able to review or change their privacy choices through the consent message displayed on the site. No advertising consent message is shown in the current ad-free build because Google advertising tags are not active.

Hosting and technical logs

The hosting and network providers may process standard request information—such as IP address, browser type, requested path, response status and timestamp—to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose reliability problems. This site does not receive Epic account data because no Epic connection exists. Provider processing and retention are governed by the relevant provider policies.

External links and embedded services

Guide pages link to Epic Games and third-party publications for evidence. Following a link takes you to a separate service that can apply its own cookies, analytics and privacy policy. The current pages do not embed third-party videos, social widgets or login buttons that load automatically.

Children and account safety

This guide is intended for a general gaming audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise account activity through Epic Games' official controls. This site cannot recover, secure or modify a Fortnite account.

Policy changes and questions

Material changes will update the effective date above and, when relevant, appear in the site update log. The contact page shows the current status of the public reporting channel.
