SEASON GUIDE

Fortnite Treasure Hunters

Treasure Hunters is a limited Fortnite Battle Royale adventure on the 80-player Crossbones Isle. The season combines weekly captain arrivals, themed POIs, rotating activities, hidden loot and a six-piece Map Fragment quest reported by guide sources.

Quick answer: Epic officially describes a changing island led by weekly captains and confirms a December 5 end event. The six-fragment schedule and loading-screen reward come from guide reporting rather than Epic's season announcement, so this site labels those details separately.

What changes during the season?

Epic says a new captain arrives each week with a crew, weapons and a point of interest. The launch is led by the Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky, followed by Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto. Crossbones Isle includes locations such as Arlong Park and Windmill Village, while combat additions include the Gum-Gum Fruit, Three Sword Style and A$AP Rocky's Shock Rocket.

Captain Days

Epic lists November 1, 8, 12, 15 and 22 for new weapons, Sprites and island changes.

Recurring events

Mastery Mondays rotate captain weapons, while Treasure Hours Saturdays add boosted treasure drops.

Chapter 7 finale

Epic tells players to keep Saturday, December 5 open, but has not announced a start time.

Where Map Fragments fit in

Published guides describe one Map Fragment becoming available each week at a captain-themed location. The reported dates are November 1, 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5. Multiple guides say the complete set unlocks the X Marks the Zero Point Sliver loading screen, while one source reports 10,000 XP for each pickup.

Epic's Treasure Hunters announcement does not publish that six-date fragment table or the reported quest rewards. The homepage therefore distinguishes verified pickup evidence from reported schedules and unconfirmed future rooms.

What players can do now

  1. Check the homepage for the number of fragments currently unlocked.
  2. Open the dedicated location page instead of searching only the general POI marker.
  3. Confirm completion in Fortnite's quest screen, then optionally mirror it in the browser tracker.
  4. Use the captain schedule when official Captain's Day dates conflict with early fragment guides.

Official information versus guide reporting

Official information on this site includes the island, named captains, announced activities, Captain Days and the December 5 event date. Exact fragment rooms, reported XP, the catch-up rule and some boss drops require separate gameplay or guide evidence. When reliable sources disagree, both timelines are shown instead of selecting whichever date is more convenient.
